Benefits of surah asar

Translated by Kanz al-Iman (surah asar)

[surah asar] By the Beloved of this age.  Surely man is at loss.  Except those who believe and do good works, and admonish one another with truth, and enjoin on one another patience.

Interpretation of the Straight Path [surah asar]

The type of time = one of the commentators on the word “Asr” mentioned in this verse is that it refers to time and since time is full of wonders and the change of circumstances in it is a lesson for the observer.  And these things indicate the power and wisdom of Allah Almighty and His Oneness.

The second statement is that [surah asar]is also called the time which occurs before sunset, so it is possible that the time of the one who loses is remembered as the one who gains.  The type of "Zuha" meaning the time of Chasht was mentioned

The third statement is that [surah asar] may refer to Asr prayers, which is the last act of worship of the day and because of its virtue, its oath has been prescribed here.

The fourth statement is this and the heart is inclined towards it that the specific time of the crown of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is meant here from time immemorial which is the time of great goodness and blessings.

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has sworn allegiance to Allaah and peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him.  peace and blessings upon the time of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him out formally.

as Messengers said that the time of the Holy Prophet peace times better, Messenger of Allah, peace be upon the holy city all cities  The best age and the blessed age of you, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is better than the ages of all.

The Exalted Hazrat Rahmatullah Ta'ala says:
He is the God who has given you times, no one has met, no one has met
That the Holy Word has sworn allegiance to your city and word and survival

Surely man is at a loss

The summary of this [surah asar] verse and the subsequent [surah asar] verse is that Allah (SWT) said by swearing that man is indeed at a loss because of his age which is his capital and real capital is always shortened.

Except those who believe and do good deeds, and exhort one another to faith and righteous deeds, and enjoin on one another to persevere in the affliction and hardship which befalls them in the way of religion,

then these people are Allah.  By the grace of Allah, they are not in loss but in profit because they have spent all their life in goodness and obedience.

Similarly, in another place, Allah Almighty says:

Translation: Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah and keep up prayer and spend some of what We have given them in secret and in public, are candidates for a trade which will never be destroyed.  He is the Forgiver, the Most Appreciative.

Information from verses 2 and 3 of [surah asar] From these (contemporary) verses 3 things are known:

No.=1 Man's life is his most valuable asset and he can benefit from this asset only if he spends it in obedience and submission to Allah Almighty and if he disobeys this investment with Allah Almighty.  If he continues to spend in disobedience and sins, he will not get any benefit but he will suffer a great loss.

No=2 The part of human life that is spent in the worship of Allah Almighty is the best.

No=3 To turn away from this world and to be engaged in seeking and loving the Hereafter is the cause of happiness for man.  Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

Translation: And whoever seeks the Hereafter and strives for it as he ought to do, and is a believer, these are the ones whose efforts will be appreciated.

Issues are known from verse 3 of [surah asar]

It is stated in Noor-ul-Irfan that many problems were known from this [surah asar] verse.

The second is to always preach, as is clear from the application of  The third is that every Muslim should be a preacher, who should know the problem correctly, he should tell the people, not just preaching to the scholars, as is clear from the generality of the subject of

The fourth is to preach in all circumstances, not just to stop at a meeting or on stage.

Fifth, preaching is as important as fasting and prayer

The sixth is that the people should preach with heart and tongue and the ulema with language and pen while the rulers should preach with full force.
